"I want family and kids. I’m exhausted being alone. I don’t share everything with my parents, but I can’t keep things from them anymore. I’m not the type to let anyone mistreat me without fear."
Tanya also addressed the rumors sparked by Malti Chahar. For context, Malti had insinuated inside the BB19 house that Tanya kissed Amaal Mallik’s photo during a task. In the same News18 interview, Tanya dismissed these rumors and reiterated that she does not harbor romantic feelings for the musician. She stated:
"If I had kissed him or if I were in love, I wouldn’t have kept it a secret from the world. If I truly loved Amaal, I wouldn’t fear speaking about it; I’d even kiss him on screen and declare it openly."

The kiss controversy emerged during a captaincy task in BB19. Wildcard entrant Malti Chahar claimed to other housemates that she had seen Tanya kissing Amaal Mallik’s photograph. The clip spread quickly, leaving the housemates shocked. Tanya, however, continued to deny the accusations. After this incident, Tanya and Amaal reportedly had a falling-out in their friendship. Some contestants even speculated that Tanya might have developed romantic feelings for the musician.
