Imagine dedicating years of your life to studying, pushing yourself to the limit, all for a single moment: seeing your name on that official list. This December 2025, 1,198 aspiring physical therapists out of 1,553 examinees experienced that incredible feeling of success! But here's what's really important: these newly licensed professionals are now ready to make a real difference in people's lives, helping them regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their overall quality of life. Let's dive into the details of the Physical Therapists Licensure Examination results, released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
The Good News: New Physical Therapists Are Ready to Serve
The PRC officially announced that 1,198 individuals successfully passed the Physical Therapists Licensure Examination held in December 2025. The exams took place across various locations, including the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, and Rosales. This means a fresh wave of qualified physical therapists is about to enter the workforce, ready to contribute their skills and knowledge to hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, and beyond.
The Board of Physical Therapy, responsible for administering the exam, was composed of Hon. Eduardo R. Peregrino, Jr. (Chairman), Hon. Raul G. Agustin, and Hon. Bernadette M. Reyes (Members). Their expertise and dedication ensure the integrity and fairness of the licensure process.
Fast Results and Online Registration
The PRC demonstrated impressive efficiency by releasing the examination results within just two working days after the last day of testing. This quick turnaround allows successful examinees to begin their professional journey without unnecessary delays.
And this is the part most people miss: the PRC has streamlined the registration process. Starting January 19, 2026, newly licensed physical therapists can complete their registration for the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration online through the PRC website (www.prc.gov.ph). The website provides detailed instructions for initial registration. Remember to have the following ready: a downloaded and accomplished Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal), your notice of admission (for identification purposes), two passport-sized colored photos with a white background and a visible name tag, two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope. The PRC emphasizes that successful examinees must personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Oath-Taking Ceremony: A Rite of Passage
The PRC will announce the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony for the new physical therapists at a later time. This ceremony is a significant milestone, marking the official induction of these professionals into their chosen field.
Top Performing Schools and Outstanding Examinees
The PRC also recognizes the top-performing schools in the December 2025 Physical Therapists Licensure Examination, based on Commission Resolution No. 1814 series of 2024. These institutions have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in physical therapy education. The list of the top performing schools and the successful examinees who achieved the ten highest scores will be released separately.
A Note of Caution
It's important to note that the result of the examination for one examinee was withheld, pending a final determination of their
